This is a look at my latest work, Les Merveilles Du Cosmos (The Wonders of the Cosmos). This piece is a spiritual and artistic exploration of a celestial battle.
Using ink on 200gsm paper, I brought to life the "angel eyes" described in the book of Ezekiel. The painting features powerful, multi-eyed beings with bold red and white patterns, locked in a struggle against the vastness of the universe. The dark, swirling branches and wheels are meant to show their connection to a cosmos full of mystery, represented by the vibrant teal and turquoise background.
I wanted to capture a sense of wonder and conflict—the beauty of the universe as seen through the eyes of these powerful beings.
Medium: A5 - 21cm x 14.5 cm with Japanese Inks and watercolour inks on 220gsm paper
