Poems and Tales of the Fabled Gable: The Second Spire (Part of The Hollow Vale)

The fabled gable, spired and brought
a simple gift, a simple sort.

The spired gable in his home
needs no meaning, sit and stone.

The second spire need no breath
in waking… bereft.

In waking he gasps and reaches
heaven, subtle he preaches.

The first spire collapse so
under weight lung slow.

Wild cohorts next to thee
sort teachings, sort tree.

Green, brows and stable clear
the grassland, the Windermere.

Fable folly spire, the two are truth
see the needless, see the truth.

Wagon, steer the cart of blue
spectacle, church’s view.

Path to brown, west of old
Needless spire, a church-land old.

Speckled, feckless blue and long
current rising, Ebb and strong.

Spear flow, stalk no true
in flowing, flowing through.

Green gable in clear blue blight
spear-haft, not in sight.

And needless lands of green, the brown, the dot
of spired spot.

Stone, cold grey and night untold
bounty stars, in times of old.

Feckless bounty, new land old
Jerusalem, young and old.

Timeless banter, whim of gold
Aslan, in time unfolds.

Take it heedless, this I bind
new land, to seek… to find.

Here these tales of Tharion, land of old
the endless star, the Wyrd, the bold.

In them rise, spiral clear
a night blunder, born steer.

Knoll of Horns, a hallowed edge
heedless, near the end of Sedge.

Crumble this, sightless heed
southward, to land speed.

Roman age is lost to time
Empire crumble, Empire rhyme.
