‘Ezekiel’s Eyes’ is an improvised, professionally recorded music suite with accompanying works of art in Japanese ink on paper, available to purchase as individual prints. All pieces are entirely human-made, and each work of art is unique.

Ezekiel's vision gave us wheels within wheels and living creatures whose rims were full of eyes, all of it lit by fire, amber, crystal and the colours of the rainbow. This series takes that radiance as its starting point.

Each Eye is a work in Japanese ink on paper, blooming with the same charged colour the prophet described, and each is paired with its own improvised piano piece, recorded live and entirely unedited.

The paintings look; the music listens. Together they form a set of small windows onto the same wonder, drawn and played by hand, one of a kind and wholly human-made.

The opening work in the Ezekiel's Eyes series. A luminous, almond-shaped eye rises out of a deep blue-green ground, ringed in vivid red and edged with a band of electric chartreuse, its inner iris a fine web of ink lines cradling a small burst of orange, blue and gold at the centre. The palette takes its cue from Ezekiel's vision of wheels full of eyes lit by fire, amber, crystal and the colours of the rainbow, and the whole image sits somewhere between the seen eye and the seeing one. Hand-made throughout in Japanese ink, Montblanc ink and Faber-Castell pencil on paper. Each print in the series is paired with its own improvised piano piece, recorded live and unedited.
